After using TDR high frequency testing on their motors since 1997, three manufacturing plants have experienced NO motor failures during the last year. It is the first time in the respective plants history that no motors burned out during the 1999 year. By tracking the reactive fault levels over two years and removing the motors with the highest responses, plant productivity and efficiencies were greatly increased and operating cost dropped dramatically.
